This year's promos emphasise a slick, dramatic look, implying that candidates have to make tough choices right from the start. Karan Kundrra joined Sunny Leone as the co-host this year. Every obstacle in the season pushes the conflict between tactical gameplay and emotional relationships.
MTV Splitsvilla 16 welcomed 32 competitors, an equal number of men and women, enter the villa to interact and compete. The first 16 entered the Pyaar Villa in the premiere episode while the remaining 16 were introduced in the second episode in the Paisa Villa.

MTV Splitsvilla Season 16 Ep 4 And 5 Update
MTV Splitsvilla 16 episode four witnessed the season’s first-ever dome session at the Pyaar Villa, setting the stage for intense drama and confrontations. The dome session quickly turned heated with arguments breaking out between rival gangs, forcing host Karan Kundra to step in and control the situation. The episode also saw sharp confrontations between Himanshu and Soundarya, as well as Saurav and Sadhav, bringing several tensions to the surface.
Tayne and Sadhaf got the opportunity to check if they were an ideal match, but the result did not go in their favour. They lost the chance to dump contestants. Simran and Anuj were the first ones to get dumped by the other couples, who were running in the race to be the ideal match. But it didn't end here.

Mischief makers Nia and Uorfi later offered a surprising opportunity that changed the course of the game. Simran's journey took an unexpected turn as she realised she had entered the Paisa Villa, where survival depended on forming alliances and earning Splitcoins to move ahead in the game.
MTV Splitsvilla episode 5 also featured the first-ever challenge focused on collecting more coins after Kiara and Vishu’s dumping prediction turned out to be correct. As a reward, the duo was granted 10,000 Splitcoins and, as a favour, all other Paisa Villa contestants later received 10,000 coins. This resulted in Kiara and Vishu securing a total of 20,000 Splitcoins each before the task.
Meanwhile, the first challenge revealed clear targets in the villa. Diptanshu and Aarav emerging as the most targeted among the boys, while Niharika and Asmita faced the heat from the girls’ side.

MTV will broadcast Splitsvilla 16 show 6 on January 18 at 7:00 PM. The new show will also be available for viewing on JioHotstar. Due to its fierce rivalries, love twists, and game-changing objectives, the dating reality show swiftly drew viewers back when it debuted last week.
