Dhurandhar 2 has been showered with love and admiration in India and across the globe. However, Pakistan has also reacted strongly to the film because of its theme. The narrative centres on an Indian spy who travels to Lyari to infiltrate the terrorist organisation's foundations. Nadeem Mandviwalla, a producer and distributor of Pakistani films, recently discussed the response of the Pakistanis to the spy thriller. He also disclosed whether or not he had seen the Ranveer Singh starrer.
The Pakistani movie distributor stated that he is awaiting a higher-quality copy of Dhurandhar 2 and has not yet seen the pirated version. He said, "Many people in Pakistan have watched the film’s pirated version. I haven’t as yet, I prefer watching in good quality. If I get a pirated version in good quality, I’ll watch it."
Nadeem Mandviwalla added that viewers would inevitably be interested in the sequel due to the success of the first instalment. "The first part was so successful that it is obvious that people will watch the second part too. There was unanimous praise for Dhurandhar part one when it was released in December, but there has been a mixed response to part two in Pakistan."

He said that, from what he's heard, the second movie seems to be less concerned with depicting Pakistan in a negative light than he had anticipated."Part one was a good film. It was clever and done in a good manner... People are saying that the second part of the film is less focused on Pakistan-bashing," he shared.

The first movie was apparently purchased for as cheaply as Rs 16. In just two weeks after its release, Dhurandhar received over two million unauthorised downloads, making it the most pirated movie in Pakistan, according to a report by news agency IANS.
Sara Arjun, Arjun Rampal, R Madhavan, Danish Pador, Gaurav Gera, Rakesh Bedi, and Sanjay Dutt played key roles in this Aditya Dhar-directed film, which starred Ranveer Singh in the title character.
