Rahul Arunoday Banerjee Death Case Update: In the hours following the unexpected drowning death of well-known Bengali actor Rahul Arunoday Banerjee on March 29 at Talsari Sea Beach, close to the Odisha-West Bengal border, while filming the Bengali daily soap opera Bhole Baba Par Karega, Talsari Marine Police confirmed that neither permission nor notification to the police had been obtained. The 43-year-old actor was taken to a neighbouring hospital by rescue personnel, where he was declared dead upon arrival.
Rahul Arunoday Banarjee and Sweta Mishra were dancing in the water at knee level for a serial shot yesterday at approximately 5:30 PM, according to SP Balasore (Odisha), who told ANI. He said "Information was received yesterday by Talsari IIC from his counterpart in Digha about the death of a Bengali actor, whose body was in Digha Medical. Further joint verification by Talsari and Digha Police revealed that the incident occurred yesterday around 5:30 PM when Rahul Banarjee and Sweta Mishra were dancing in the water at knee level for shooting of a serial."
"Suddenly both of them fell into a ditch and their team immediately took them to Digha Hospital. However, the male actor could not be saved. The team neither gave any intimation nor obtained any permission for shooting. Talsari Police is coordinating with Digha Police for further legal action," he added.

Rahul Arunoday Banerjee's unexpected demise shocked West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. "I am shocked and deeply saddened to hear the news that the distinguished, young, and popular actor Rahul Arunoday Banerjee is suddenly no longer among us. I am unable to comprehend what exactly happened. He was one of my favourite actors and a person I truly admired. I extend my heartfelt condolences to his bereaved family, loved ones, and countless admirers," she said.
West Bengal CM added, "Rahul's sudden passing is an irreparable loss to the Bengali entertainment industry."

Who Was Rahul Arunoday Banerjee?
Rahul Arunoday Banerjee was born in Kolkata on October 16, 1983. His breakout performance in the 2008 movie Chirodini Tumi Je Amar helped him rose to stardom in the Bengali cinema. Following this, he made appearances in movies including Kagojer Bou, Na Hannyate, Shono Mon Boli Tomay, and Love Circus.
The actor's involvement in web series and television shows, such as Sahaj Katha, helped him establish a connection with Bengali cinema enthusiasts.
