Rahul Arunoday Banerjee, a well-known Bengali actor, drowned accidentally at Talsari in Digha, close to the Odisha-West Bengal border, on Sunday, March 29. The 43-year-old actor had traveled to film Bengali series, Bhole Baba Par Karega. After the shoot was over, he reportedly went into the sea by himself, but when he didn't come back, fear spread. He was pulled out of the water by the on-location team and admitted to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Rahul Arunoday Banerjee's last video has gone viral on social media as his fans lament his untimely demise. The actor was filming for Bhole Baba Paar Karega at the Talsari beach. He was spotted in a green shirt, performing a part in front of other cast and crew members. Unaware that this would be his final shot, the actp sought to give it his best shot while maintaining his composed demeanor.

The drowning incident happened after pack-up in the afternoon, based on preliminary information. According to reports, Banerjee went into the deep-sea waters by herself once the shoot was over. Members of the production team were alarmed when he vanished shortly after, as they saw the accident happen.
