Ranveer Singh starrer Dhurandhar, which was directed by Aditya Dhar and released on December 5, 2025. The spy movie also starred Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, and Arjun Rampal in the lead roles. Naveen Kaushik, Danish Pandor, Sara Arjun and Rakesh Bedi played key parts in Dhurandhar, which has surpassed Rs 1000 crore mark worldwide. As the movie continues to break box office records, Naveen Kaushik, who portrays Donga in the movie, opened up about Ranveer Singh's humility on Dhurandhar ser. Additionally, he emphasised that, contrary to popular belief, the Bajirao Mastani actor does not jump around on set.
Naveen Kaushik talked extensively on how Ranveer Singh is on the set and even opened up about his equation with the 'star'. "So we had to create a level of camaraderie in the film," he stated when discussing his relationship with Ranveer Singh who portrayed Hamza Ali in Dhurandhar. "So he (Ranveer Singh) used to play these pranks, or he would come in and joke with us. He had a joke with me, he had a joke with Qazi, who's playing Siyahi's character."
How Was Ranveer Singh On Dhurandhar Set?
Naveen Kaushik added, "So these were like personal jokes that we shared, so that the minute we were on set, we would get into that mould of, we are people in Rehman Dakait's gang, instead of, oh, Ranveer Singh, the star, and Naveen Kaushik, the supporting actor. He would break that barrier straight away with his jokes."

Naveen Kaushik stated that while he is perceived as an energetic person who jumps around, this isn't actually the case. Ranveer Singh makes sure everyone around him is comfortable."The energy is to make everyone comfortable with him. The energy is to break that ice of everyone thinking, there's a star. Because people, the minute they start thinking, there's a star, they start behaving differently. They start becoming very guarded, they start becoming, not saying what's on their mind. And I think Ranveer Singh identifies that and sees that if people don't say what's on their mind, especially the actors who are in the scene, the scene doesn't come out well. So he breaks that."

Naveen Kaushik clarified that Ranveer Singh is not someone who just jumps around on the set. Instead, his energy is directed towards creating a comfortable environment, ensuring that everyone on set feels at ease
He highlighted that Ranveer Singh disproves the idea that 'I'm the star.' "He breaks that whole thing, the premise of, I'm the star, you need to respect me because I'm the star. Respect me for my work. I'll respect you for your work."
