Samantha Ruth Prabhu's latest film Maa Inti Bangaram is enjoying a dream run at the box office. The female-led drama has won over audiences and achieved a major milestone by becoming the highest-grossing female-led film in Telugu cinema. In just 10 days, the film surpassed the long-standing record held by Anushka Shetty's Arundhati, making history and setting a new benchmark for women-centric films in the Telugu film industry.

Samatha’s Maa Inti Bangaram Film Surpasses Arundhati's Long-Standing Record

Samantha Ruth Prabhu's Maa Inti Bangaram has become the highest-grossing female-led film in South cinema. The film has overtaken Arundhati, starring Anushka Shetty, which held the record since its release in 2009.

Arundhati earned around Rs 70 crore worldwide during its theatrical run and remained the biggest Telugu women-centric blockbuster for several years. Maa Inti Bangaram crossed the same milestone within just 10 days of its release, creating a new box office record.

Maa Inti Bangaram Latest Box Office Collection

The film continued its strong performance on its second Sunday, earning Rs 5.30 crore on Day 10, as per Sacnilk report. So far, Maa Inti Bangaram has collected Rs 78.71 crore worldwide, including Rs 55.86 crore gross in India and Rs 22.85 crore from overseas markets. The impressive numbers have made it the highest-grossing female-led film in South cinema.
