Telugu actress Sreeleela, who will soon make her Bollywood debut alongside Kartik Aaryan, has recently been making headlines due to dating rumours with Indian cricketer Tilak Varma. The speculation spread rapidly across social media and caught the attention of fans. However, the actress’s mother and her team have now strongly denied the reports, stating that the rumours are completely baseless.
How Did Sreeleela And Tilak Varma's Dating Rumours Begin?
The dating rumours started after a funny video featuring Indian cricketers Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Varma went viral on social media. In the clip, Suryakumar was seen teasing Tilak by saying, “Tilak Varma is in love.” Soon after the video surfaced online, many social media users began guessing that Tilak and Sreeleela were secretly dating each other.
Apart from this, Sreeleela and Tilak Varma's relationship rumours also grew after fans noticed their separate visits to the Tirumala temple and linked social media activity. Speculation increased when Sreeleela’s mother was reportedly seen during a Mumbai Indians match, while online users also discussed old interviews and alleged social media interactions.
Actress’s Mother And Team Call Rumours False
Reacting to the rumours during a conversation with Deccan Chronicle, Sreeleela’s mother, Dr Swarnalatha, strongly denied all such claims. She said, “These reports are completely false. We do not know where such stories come from. There is absolutely no truth in the rumours about them being in a relationship for the past year. It is only people’s imagination.”
She further revealed that Sreeleela is currently balancing her film career and studies together. According to her mother, the actress is preparing for her NEET-PG examination scheduled for June.
Apart from her mother, Sreelelaa's team has also dismissed the rumours and urged media platforms not to spread false speculation.
Sreeleela Focused On Career And Studies
Sreeleela’s mother, Dr Swarnalatha, added, “Right now, her complete focus is on studies and films. She has plenty of time ahead for her personal life.” Earlier, Sreeleela’s team had also denied the rumours and stated that the actress and Tilak Varma do not even know each other personally.
Actress Preparing For Bollywood Debut
On the work front, Sreeleela is preparing for her Bollywood debut opposite Kartik Aaryan in Anurag Basu’s upcoming film. She also has a Tamil project with Dhanush.
