Farah Khan is set to host the show featuring 50 contestants and scheduled to premiere on February 1, 2026, on Colors TV and JioHotstar. With the announcement of confirmed contestants of The 50, the buzz around who is The Lion of the show has taken over the internet. Latest promo featuring Singham star Ajay Devgn sparked speculations about him being the Lion of The 50. In the promo, he playfully teases the biggest mystery surrounding the high-stakes reality show.

The 50: Is Ajay Devgn The Lion Of Farah Khan-Hosted Show?

The promo of The 50 opens with Ajay watching a teaser of the show, when his phone rings with the Singham title track as the caller tune, building anticipation. During a conversation over a call with someone who asks if he is the lion? Clarifying that he is not the Lion, he said, “Nahi yar, mai nahi hun The 50 ka Lion. Chote mote pranks kar sakta hoon, par ye show kafi controversial lag raha hai."

Calling himself ‘Vardi wala lion," the actor added, "Main 5 logon ki party mein bhi nahi jaata.”

The promo ended with Ajay stating, “Last time bol raha hoon, main The 50 ka Lion nahi hoon.”

Sharing the promo, the makers on Instagram wrote, "Vardi wala Lion bhi intezaar kar raha hai The 50 ke Lion ka. The 50, Starts 1st Feb, on #JioHotstar and @ColorsTv."

The 50 Confirmed Contestants List

Among the confirmed contestants, the latest to join is TV actor Urvashi Dholakia. She announced her participation in the show through an Instagram post.

This is not the first time she is participated in a reality show. She has previously appeared on Bigg Boss 6, which she eventually won as well as Nach Baliye  and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11.
