The Raja Saab Box Office Collection Day 3: Prabhas’ latest release The Raja Saab has completed its opening weekend at the worldwide box office with mixed results. While the horror-comedy started strong, it saw noticeable drops over the weekend. Still, the film has managed to cross the important Rs 150 crore milestone globally within just three days of its release. Directed by Maruthi, The Raja Saab marks Prabhas’ return to the family entertainer genre after more than a decade. Despite facing criticism from reviewers, the film continues to attract audiences, mainly due to the star power of its lead actor.
The Raja Saab Box Office Update
The Raja Saab opened in cinemas on Friday with an impressive Rs 100 crore worldwide gross. The film benefited from strong advance bookings and high fan interest, especially in the Telugu-speaking regions and overseas markets like the United States. After its big opening, the film struggled to maintain the same pace. On Saturday, The Raja Saab witnessed a sharp 51 per cent drop in domestic collections. The downward trend continued on Sunday, with another 20 per cent decline in India. By the end of Day 3, the film had earned approximately Rs 109 crore net in India, which translates to around Rs 130 crore gross. On Sunday alone, the film collected nearly Rs 19.10 crore net across all languages, in India. Despite the dip in India, overseas markets played a key role in pushing the film’s total numbers higher. Thanks to a strong opening in the US, The Raja Saab has earned over $3 million internationally. With this, the film’s total worldwide collection after three days stands at approximately Rs 158 crore gross.
The Raja Saab Beats Akhanda 2 And Mirai
With Rs 158 crore in three days, The Raja Saab has already surpassed the lifetime box office collections of several recent Telugu releases. These include Balakrishna’s Akhanda 2, which earned around Rs 128 crore, and Mirai, which grossed close to Rs 150 crore worldwide.
