Recently, Govinda’s daughter Tina Ahuja has revealed that she has taken over her mother Sunita Ahuja’s YouTube channel for one day. Tina has decided to do something special for her mother on the occasion of Women’s Day 2026. She has decided to surprise her mother with some special gifts as a token of appreciation for what her mother has done for the family.
Talking about the reason behind the surprise, Tina said, “Hum girls aur women dusro ke liye bohot kuch karte rahte hain par apne baare mein kabhi sochte hi nahi hain. So maine socha kyu na main kuch apne tarike se kuch aisa special karoon meri mom ke liye.” (We women put a lot of effort into serving others without ever considering ourselves. So, I thought that I should give my mother something special.)
‘Two Years Have Been Turbulent’
While speaking in the vlog, Tina also mentioned in the video that her parents have had a difficult time in the last few years. Without going into much detail, she admitted that things have not always been smooth.
She said, “Two years have not been that great. Thoda sa turbulent raha hain, but let's move on and let's celebrate life.” Tina then bought sunflowers and several other gifts for Sunita. Later, the mother and daughter spent time together chatting at their Mumbai home.
Sunita Ahuja Talks About Living For Herself
During the conversation, Sunita Ahuja also discussed her thoughts on creating a balance between responsibilities. According to her, thinking for yourself is just as essential as taking care of one's family.
Sunita said, “Har cheez ek limit se karna chahiye. Main ye nahi bolti hoon ki tum apne husband ko chhod do, bachchon ko chhod do, but. There is a very big ‘but’ in my life,e which is what I did. Maine sabka khayal rakha, but now at this point,t I started living for myself, and I deserve more than this.”

Govinda and Sunita Ahuja have been married for over 30 years and have two children, Yashvardhan Ahuja and Tina Ahuja. In 2025, there wererumourss of their possible divorce, which spread across the media. Lately, Govinda talked about his feelings for actress Neelam Kothari, referring to her as ‘doll-like’ during an interview on Sidharth Kannan’s podcast, which again brought up speculations regarding Govindamaritalage life.
