Vadh 2 Box Office Collection Day 2: In a Bollywood landscape dominated by big-budget spectacles and star-studded releases, smaller content-driven films often find it difficult to survive at the box office. However, Vadh 2, starring Sanjay Mishra and Neena Gupta, has managed to carve out its own space by relying on strong performances and a gripping storyline. The film has shown steady growth over its opening weekend and has crossed the Rs 1 crore mark within just two days of release.

According to early estimates, Vadh 2 has earned approximately Rs 1.21 crore net in India over its first two days in theatres. The film opened on Friday with a modest but respectable collection of Rs 50 lakh. On Saturday, it witnessed a clear upward trend, collecting around Rs 71 lakh, which helped it comfortably cross the Rs 1 crore milestone. At present, Vadh 2 is facing strong competition from major Bollywood films like the war drama Border 2 and the cop action thriller Mardaani 3. Despite this, the Sanjay Mishra–Neena Gupta starrer has managed to hold its ground. 

Vadh 2 Plot And Cast Details

Directed by Jaspal Singh Sandhu, Vadh 2 stars Sanjay Mishra, Neena Gupta, Kumud Mishra, and Yogita Bihani in key roles. The film revolves around a dark moral dilemma centred on a widowed prison guard, played by Sanjay Mishra, and a soon-to-be-released inmate portrayed by Neena Gupta. Kumud Mishra appears as a jail superintendent whose investigation into a shocking prison crime leads him into a dangerous web of lies, secrets, and justice. The film blends thriller and mystery elements while exploring themes of morality and consequence.

Meanwhile, during promotions, Neena Gupta spoke about the importance of meaningful roles for senior actors. She told IANS, “I feel very good, I feel very proud that actors of this age also get a lead role to play, to play a responsible role. They can now not just support, but have a chance to carry a film on their shoulders, I feel very good about it.” She further added, “I feel that if films like this continue to be made, then the other actors, their manoeuvrability will also increase, that if they can do it, we can also do it. So, it’s a moment of big pride for me.”
