The film premiered on Netflix on January 30, 2026, and fans were eager to revisit the action-packed drama from the comfort of their homes. However, the excitement quickly turned into disappointment as several viewers took to social media to express their frustration over the film’s altered colour grading on OTT.
Soon after the film began streaming, social media platforms, especially X (formerly Twitter), were flooded with reactions criticising the film’s visual presentation. Apart from the colour grading controversy, there was also earlier speculation that Dhurandhar was trimmed by nearly nine minutes for its OTT release. Addressing these claims, a source told Pinkvilla that the filmmakers had submitted the film to Netflix without any edits or cuts. According to the report, the version delivered to Netflix fully complied with the platform’s technical requirements and mandates. As of now, Netflix has not released an official statement regarding the alleged colour grading changes or runtime concerns.

As per Sacnilk data, the film has amassed an impressive Rs 835.85 crore at the global box office, cementing its place as one of the biggest releases of the year.
