This was the name of her character in Haq, so for fans who were paying attention, it was a subtle reference or Easter egg.

Yami Gautam's role in Uri: The Surgical Strike also came to mind when she appeared in the sequel. In the 2019 film, she portrayed Pallavi Sharma, an R&AW officer, who first appeared in Vicky Kaushal's life as a nurse named Jasmine. This narrative beat was closely reflected in Dhurandhar 2's covert nurse-turned-agent perspective.

Unexpectedly, Prime Minister Narendra Modi made another noteworthy appearance in Dhurandhar: The Revenge. A real-life footage of his statement following the 2014 General Elections, in which the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) won by a landslide majority, was used to feature him.

Dhurandhar 2 made a strong Rs 56.55 crore nett on its sixth day in India, bringing its total for the six days to an astounding Rs 575.65 crore nett domestically. The gross for India is currently Rs 687.43 crore. In international markets, the spy thriller is doing remarkably well. The film's domestic trend is mirrored in North America (the US and Canada), where even weekday showings are packed.

The discussions Dhurandhar: The Revenge has generated among viewers regarding its politics, content, music, plot twists, and strong performances have also been very beneficial to the movie. Trade analysts predict that Dhurandhar 2 will become the fastest Hindi movie to reach the Rs 1,000 crore club. After that, it will aim to surpass the global standards set by movies like Pushpa 2, RRR, KGF 2, Baahubali 2, and its own predecessor, Dhurandhar.
