Tollywood superstar Kamal Haasan is not just a name in the film fraternity but the man himself is a brand where he is currently shooting for Shankar's much-anticipated film 'Indian 2.' The actor recently completed a long-intense action sequence in South Africa where the actor headed back to India a month ago.

However, many media portals claim that the actor was offered a hefty amount of Rs 150 Cr to play the role of an antagonist in Prabhas led Nag Ashwin's film 'Project K' which also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone in lead roles.

The makers of the film are currently in talks with the megastar, who is yet to sign the dotted deal. The project marks the first-ever collaboration between Prabhas and Nag Ashwin, who is popular for his Savitri biopic 'Mahanati' starring Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha Ruth Prabhu.

According to a report in Hindustan Times, Ashwini Dutt, the producer of 'Project K' approached Kamal Haasan with a whopping offer of Rs 150 Crore as a fee to play the role of the villain in the film. However, the actor refused the claims, where the report states, "Talks have been initiated with Kamal sir. He hasn't even confirmed anything yet. It'll take another week or two for us to get more clarity on whether he's accepted the offer or not."

Recently, in an interview, Ashwini Dutt also opened up about his project and shared several updates where he said, "This will be a graphics-heavy film. It's been five months since we commenced work on the graphics and it'll go on through the course of next year as well. We've completed about 70 percent of the shoot so far."

Filmmaker Nag Ashwin is currently busy shooting for this upcoming Science-fiction film where both Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan have about a week to 10 days to wrap their schedule for the film.

Nag Ashwin also asked for the support of industrialist and businessman Anand Mahindra and thanked him, as in February 2020, the film was announced via a special video on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Vyjayanthi Films.

The producer took to Twitter and thanked the businessman for building futuristic vehicles exclusively for the film on a lavish budget and he also added that his work is making the nation proud.

He wrote, "Dear @anandmahindra sir... we are making an Indian sci-fi film with Mr. Bachchan, Prabhas and Deepika called Project K. A few vehicles we are building for this world are unique and beyond the tech of today... if this film does what it is supposed to, it will be the pride of our nation."
