Sushmita Sen is one of the few Bollywood actresses who loves to connect with fans often on social media. In a recent Instagram Live, Sushmita answered the much anticipated question about her wedding. The actress shared her desire to get married but also emphasised that there should be someone who will be the right person for her. The emotion should reach the heart as well. During the Q&A session, Sushmita also shared that she recently attended a wedding in Jaipur. The actress ended the live session by saying that her younger daughter is having her board exams and she needs to check on her. 

Sushmita Sen talked about her desire to get married. She said, “I also want to get married. Milna chahiye na koi shaadi karne layek. Aise thodi hoti hai shaadi. Kehte hai na, bohot romantic way mein toh dil ka rishta hota hai. Dil tak baat toh pahunchni chahiye na. Shaadi bhi kar lenge. (There should be someone worthy of marriage, right? Marriage doesn’t just happen like that. As they say in a very romantic way, it’s a bond of the heart. The feeling should reach the heart, right? Then I’ll get married too.)”

As reported, the actress was earlier in a relationship with IPL founder and former chairman Lalit Modi. In 2022, Lalit Modi shared a series of romantic pictures from their Maldives and Sardinia vacation. Lalit referred Sushmita as his ‘better half’. Not only that even he updated his Instagram bio upon their relationship and called her ‘partner in crime’. 

On Valentine’s Day, Lalit Modi updated about his relationship status and wrote on Instagram “Lucky Once - Yes. But I got lucky TWICE. When a 25 year friendship turns to LOVE. It happened twice. Hope it does for you all too. #happyvalentinesday to you all.”
