Trisha Krishnan has slammed her 'Leo' co-star Mansoor Ali Khan for his derogatory mark over not getting to do a scene with the actress. A video of Mansoor Ali Khan has been going viral on social media in which he said he did not get to do a bedroom or rape scene with Trisha as he has done with other actress in his films. The actor received a lot of backlash from Trisha's fans and Trisha also issued a strong statement on social media.
Reacting to the video, Trisha wrote on X, "A recent video has come to my notice where Mr. Mansoor Ali Khan has spoken about me in a vile and disgusting manner. I strongly condemn this and find it sexist, disrespectful, misogynistic, repulsive and in bad taste. He can keep wishing but I am grateful never to have shared screen space with someone as pathetic as him and I will make sure it never happens for the rest of my film career as well. People like him bring a bad name to mankind."
In the video, Mansoor Ali Khan said, "When I heard that I was acting with Trisha, I thought there would be a bedroom scene in the film. I thought that I could carry her to the bedroom just like I did with other actresses in my earlier movies. I have done so many rape scenes in a number of movies and it's not new to me. But these guys didn't even show Trisha to me on the sets during the Kashmir schedule."
On the work front, Trisha was last seen in 'Leo', which turned out to be a blockbuster. She is all set to make her OTT debut with the show 'Brinda'. Talking about her OTT debut, she told The Hindu, "As far as 'Brinda' is concerned, it’s my first streaming project and is a crime-thriller. We just finished filming this year, and it’s in post-production. I initially wasn’t sure about getting into the OTT space, but I really liked the script and the director I was working with, so I decided to give it a go."
She will be seen in 'Thug Life' with Kamal Haasan, Dulquer Salmaan and Jayam Ravi.
