The Zee Cine Awards 2023 were held on Sunday night in Mumbai. The big winners at the award ceremony were Alia Bhatt, Kartik Aaryan and Anupam Kher, who won the top acting accolades at the event.
Kartik Aaryan, who won the Best Actor award for his role of Rooh Baba in the blockbuster comedy film, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, took to his social media account to post a thank you note. Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt won the Best Actor award for her role in films including Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi and Jasmeet K. Reen’s Darlings. The actor took to her social media account to post a special picture of herself with her trophy last night and expressed her gratitude.
Alia Bhatt also gave a special shoutout to husband Ranbir Kapoor, who clicked her picture with the trophy at 2 AM. “Gangu love. Thank you Zee Cine awards for the honour! Sir- no words will ever be enough for how grateful I am to you @Bhansaliproductions. Special mention to my husband for patiently taking my picture at 2 am,” read the Gangubai Kathiawadi star’s story caption.
Meanwhile, Kartik Aaryan’s latest release Shehzada performed underwhelmingly at the box-office. The film managed to collect over Rs 29 crore in its first 10 days of release. The actor will next be seen opposite Kiara Advani in Satya Prem Ki Katha.
