Faridabad Girl Murder: A shocking murder case was reported in Faridabad, Haryana, in which a man killed his 4-year-old girl after she failed to do her homework. SHO, Sector 58, Azad Singh, on Saturday, said the accused was immediately arrested and produced in court.

"This incident is from the village Jhar Sentli, where a father murdered his young daughter for not doing her homework. The father (Krishna Jaiswal) was immediately arrested after a case was registered. Yesterday, he was produced in court and is now on one-day police remand," Singh said.

Failing To Write Numbers Up To 50 Costs Girl's Life

According to police, man's attempt to get his daughter homework done turned fatal when he allegedly beat the child to death. She was assaulted for failing to write numbers up to 50.

Police arrested the accused after a complaint was lodged at the Sector 58 police station. He was produced in a city court on Friday and sent to a one-day police remand.

The accused, identified as Krishna Jaiswal (31), is a native of Kheratiya village in Uttar Pradesh's Sonbhadra district. He lived in a rented house in Faridabad.

What Police Probe Revealed?

The probe revealed that both Jaiswal and his wife worked in private companies. The mother works during the day, while her husband stays home to care for the children and supervise daughter's lessons. The incident occurred on January 21.

Jaiswal had asked the child to write numbers from one to 50. When she was unable to complete the task, he started thrashing her, leading to her death.

When the mother came home, she was shocked seeing he daughter lying dead on the floor. She informed the police. A team from the local police station reached the spot and took the body into custody.
