Bulk Waste Generators (BWGs), such as large residential societies and institutions that generate significant quantities of waste, will now be required to manage waste within their own premises. To facilitate this, the Municipal Corporation will identify agencies and assign them the task.
The Municipal Corporation has initiated efforts towards the collection, segregation, transportation, processing and disposal of Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) generated by Bulk Waste Generators (BWGs) in the city.
The selected agencies will ensure the scientific and environmentally friendly management of waste generated by BWGs, thereby strengthening the sanitation system. Interested and eligible agencies can submit their applications along with the necessary documents and prescribed eligibility criteria, as available on the Municipal Corporation of Gurugram's official website, www.mcg.gov.in.

Workshop On January 21
To provide detailed information about the process to the agencies and address their queries, the Municipal Corporation of Gurugram will organize a workshop on January 21 at 11:00 AM. This workshop will be held at the Municipal Corporation office in Sector 34.

Joint Commissioner (SBM) Dr Preetpal Singh stated that this initiative by the Municipal Corporation of Gurugram will make the city's waste management system more organised and transparent. It will ensure better management of the waste produced by Bulk Waste Generators.
