On the occasion of Republic Day, the district-level celebrations will feature a glimpse of the prestigious Haryana Police Academy, Madhuban, alongside various state cultural programs.
Today, Saturday, a full-dress rehearsal for the ceremony was held at Tau Devi Lal Stadium. During the rehearsal, school children presented a captivating display of Surya Namaskar. This was followed by folk dance performances representing Haryana and several other states.
Deputy Commissioner Ajay Kumar took the salute of the grand parade during the rehearsal. Other senior officials in attendance included ADC Sonu Bhatt, DCP Gaurav Rajpurोहित, and SDM Paramjit Chahal.
Additionally, students from the Government Senior Secondary School, Jacobpura, used the platform to raise public awareness about various social issues and government initiatives, including Water Conservation, Environmental Protection, Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao, and the Swachh Bharat (Cleanliness) mission.
As part of the cultural series, students from the Government Model Sanskriti Senior Secondary School, Sushant Lok, also delivered a performance.
