A Haryana Roadways bus suddenly caught fire in Sector 12, Gurugram, on Saturday night. Upon receiving the information, police and fire brigade vehicles arrived at the scene.
The fire brigade team brought the blaze under control after considerable effort. There were no casualties in the incident.

Fire Officer Narendra Yadav stated that at around 11 PM, the Bhim Nagar fire brigade and the police received information that a Roadways bus had caught fire in Sector 12. It was reported that all passengers had disembarked from the bus in time.
Upon receiving the information, one fire engine was dispatched to the scene from the Bhim Nagar fire station. There, the team brought the fire under control. However, the bus was destroyed by the fire.

The fire officer stated that when the team arrived, the driver and conductor were not at the scene. There were no passengers on the bus. A short circuit in the bus is being cited as the preliminary cause of the fire.
