Agra-Lucknow Expressway Bus Accident: In a tragic incident in Uttar Pradesh, at least two people reportedly died and multiple got severely injured after a bus caught fire on the Agra-Lucknow expressway. The bus, full of vehicles, caught fire after colliding with a private vehicle on the expressway, leading to panic. As per the reports, the driver and conductor of the bus died after they could not escape the scene.
The locals from the surrounding regions rushed to the scene upon hearing the screams of the passengers, reported Jagran.com. The police and fire brigade teams arrived at the site immediately after receiving the alert. The reports suggest that Shambhu, the bus driver, was burnt alive after being trapped in the steering mechanism.

The officials stated that a total of 30 passengers were onboard the bus, adding that at least twelve of them are critical. The senior officials, including SP City Ravishankar Prasad, CO Tejas Tripathi, and CFO Satyendra Pandey, arrived at the site upon receiving information about the incident.
The police have taken custody of the body, and the injured have been admitted to a nearby hospital, the officials informed. The police have also launched a detailed probe into the matter to disclose the exact chronology of the incident.
