Andhra Pradesh News: A man has been arrested in YSR Kadapa district, Andhra Pradesh after he allegedly raped and murdered a three-year-old girl. The incident occurred during a family wedding in a village, where the child was playing outside.

According to a NDTV report, the suspect, identified as Rahamatulla, reportedly lured the girl with a banana before taking her to a secluded area. She was later found dead in a bush after her parents couldn't find her.

Villagers apprehended Rahamatulla and handed him over to the authorities. The investigation is underway.

In a separate incident, four children died after getting locked inside a parked car in Dwarapudi village, located in the Vizianagaram district of Andhra Pradesh. The incident happened on Sunday while the children were playing near a marriage venue in the area.

According to reports, five children had gone out to play in the morning. Four of them entered an unlocked car parked near the women's community office. The vehicle door accidentally got locked while they were inside. Due to lack of ventilation, the children later died from suffocation.

The children have been identified as Uday (8), son of Mangi Buchibabu and Bhavani; Charumati (8) and Charishma (6), daughters of Burlu Anand and Uma; and Manaswini, daughter of Kandi Suresh and Aruna.

Despite efforts by their parents to search for them throughout the day, the children were only found after many hours inside the locked car.

Andhra Pradesh MSME Minister Kondapalli Srinivas visited the village and said that the children had entered the vehicle while playing. He confirmed that the government will support the affected families. He also asked parents to be more watchful of their children during public gatherings to prevent similar incidents.
