PM Modi further said, "This Dharma Dhwaja is not just a flag. It is the flag of the rejuvenation of Indian civilisation. The Saffron colour, Suryavansh's signia, the 'Om' word, and the Kovidara tree impersonate Ram Rajya's glory. This flag is a resolution, a success, a story of struggle to creation, a physical form of the struggle of 100s years. For the coming thousands of centuries, this flag will proclaim Lord Ram's values. Truth is Dharma. There should be no discrimination or pain, and there is peace and happiness. There should be no poverty, and no one is helpless."

PM Modi said, "Today, the entire India and the world is Ram-may. There is extraordinary satisfaction in the heart of every Rama devotee. There is boundless gratitude. There is unfathomable supernatural bliss. The wounds of centuries are being healed. The pain of centuries is being put to rest today. The resolve of centuries is being fulfilled today. Today is the completion of that sacrifice whose fire remained lit for 500 years."

PM Modi said, "Today, the city of Ayodhya is bearing witness to yet another pinnacle of India's cultural consciousness. Today, all of India and the entire world are filled with the presence of Ram. In the heart of every devotee of Rama, there is unparalleled satisfaction, boundless gratitude, immense, otherworldly joy."

RSS Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat, addressing the public after the flag hoisting at the Ram Mandir said, "This is a significant day for all of us. Many people dreamed of this moment, many made efforts, and many made sacrifices. Their souls must be rejoicing today. Ashok ji (Ashok Singhal) must be feeling peaceful today. Mahant Ramchandra Das ji Maharaj, Dalmia ji (senior VHP leader Vishnu Hari Dalmia), and numerous saints, people, and students dedicated their lives and worked tirelessly. Even those who were in the background kept hoping for the construction of the temple. The temple has now been built, and today, the 'shastriya prakriya' of the temple has been performed. The dhwajarohan has been completed today."

UP CM Yogi Adityanath said, "This grand temple is the symbol of 140 crore Indians' faith and self-respect. I congratulate all the 'Karma yogis' who sacrificed themselves for this... This flag is proof that the light of Dharma is immortal and the principles of Ram Rajya are timeless... When PM Modi became the prime minister in 2014, the faith that rose in the hearts of crores of Indians is now symbolised as this grand Ram Temple... This saffron flag symbolises Dharma, integrity, truth, justice and 'Rashtra Dharma'."

This temple is an excellent example of combining ancient craftsmanship with cutting-edge science. Engineers and intellectuals from the country's leading institutions-including the Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT) Madras, Delhi, Bombay, and Guwahati, are involved in constructing this stone temple, which is designed to stand for a thousand years.

Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath presented miniature models of the saffron flag ceremonially hoisted on the shikhar of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir and the Ram Lalla idol at the temple to PM Narendra Modi and RSS Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat.

UP CM Yogi Adityanath, addressing the gathering at Ram Mandir, Ayodhya, after the flag hoisting, said, "The flag hoisting at the grand temple of Bhagwan Ram in Shri Ayodhya Dham is not the poornaahuti of a yagya, but the beginning of a new era. I thank PM Modi on this occasion on behalf of all Ram devotees."

PM Modi and RSS Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat ceremonially hoisted the saffron flag on the shikhar of the sacred Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple, symbolising the completion of the temple's construction, with UP CM Yogi Adityanath also present. The right-angled triangular flag, measuring 10 feet in height and 20 feet in length, bears the image of a radiant Sun representing the brilliance and valour of Bhagwan Shri Ram, along with an 'Om' and the image of the Kovidara tree. This sacred saffron flag conveys a message of dignity, unity, and cultural continuity.

Devotees from across the country have gathered in Ayodhya today on the occasion of Ram Vivah Panchami. Among them is Ghanshyam Das from Lalitpur, who has come ahead of the Ayodhya Dhwajarohan ceremony. Speaking about his experience, he said, "It feels great to be here. I had the darshan yesterday, and I am now heading to Guru in Chhoti Chhawni. The city is so beautiful. The Prime Minister is coming here today; he will have the darshan."

PM Narendra Modi will ceremonially hoist a saffron flag on the shikhar of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya shortly.

The flag will rise atop a shikhar constructed in the traditional North Indian Nagara architectural style, while the surrounding 800-metre parkota, a circumambulatory enclosure built around the temple and designed in the South Indian architectural tradition, showcases the temple’s architectural diversity.

The idol of Ram Lalla is placed in the main sanctum sanctorum on the ground floor, which can be reached by climbing 32 steps from the Singh Gate on the eastern side. The temple complex includes five mandaps, Nritya, Ranga, Sabha, Prarthana, and Kirtan, designed for various devotional activities. It also features the restored ancient Shiva temple at Kuber Tila and the historic Sita Kup well.

The construction of the temple began under the supervision of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust after receiving approval from the Government of India on February 5, 2020. Prime Minister Narendra Modi performed the Bhoomi Pujan and laid the foundation stone on August 5, 2020, marking the fulfilment of the long-standing resolve to build the temple.

An elderly devotee of Shri Ram said, "I am going for Darshan. Both of these holding me are my daughters. Ayodhya is very beautiful today. I am going to the Lord for his Darshan."

Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrives at the Saptmandir, which houses temples dedicated to Maharshi Vashishtha, Maharshi Vishwamitra, Maharshi Agastya, Maharshi Valmiki, Devi Ahilya, Nishadraj Guha and Mata Shabari.

Prasadam has been prepared for the flag-hoisting ceremony at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple. Vehicles are being brought to the temple complex for distribution to the invitees.

A devotee from Karnataka said, "I have come here from Mangaluru. We know how many sacrifices have been made. Finally, the Ram temple was built after everything. We are very proud."

Shrish Bahubali Maharaj of Shringverpur Dham said, "I am feeling very good to be here. I am carrying Gangajal with me. I brought Gangajal for PM Modi. I will give it to him for performing Abhishek on the Flag."

Ayodhya Dhwajarohan | Sculptor Prashant Pandey, who built idols in Ram Darbar said, "It is our eyes and heart which see things, I can't express in words the joy in my heart. We have been blessed with this good fortune. My soul is full today."
