Ayodhya Mandir Dhwajarohan LIVE Updates: Centuries-Old Wounds Healing, Says PM Modi After Hoisting Saffron Flag At Ram Temple

Ayodhya Dhwaj Aarohan: Prime Minister Narendra Modi and RSS Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat ceremonially hoisted the saffron flag on the shikhar of the sacred Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple on November 25, symbolising the completion of the temple’s construction, with UP CM Yogi Adityanath also present. The right-angled triangular flag, measuring 10 feet in height and 20 feet in length, bears the image of a radiant Sun representing the brilliance and valour of Bhagwan Shri Ram, along with an ‘Om’ and the image of the Kovidara tree. The flag weighs 2.5 kg and is expected to have an estimated lifespan of three years.
The ceremony held on the auspicious Panchami of Shukla Paksha in the month of Margashirsha, aligning with the Abhijit Muhurat of Shri Ram and Maa Sita’s Vivah Panchami, a day marking divine union. The date also coincides with the martyrdom day of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, the ninth Sikh Guru, who meditated in Ayodhya for 48 hours in the 17th century, adding deeper spiritual significance to the occasion.
