Bengaluru Power Cut: Residents across several parts of Bengaluru are advised to brace for scheduled power outages on February 6 and 7, as the Bangalore Electricity Supply Company Limited (BESCOM) has announced scheduled disruptions to carry out emergency maintenance work. The utility company has warned that power outages may affect daily routines, businesses, and work-from-home arrangements in multiple neighbourhoods of the city.

Residents are advised to plan accordingly, charge essential electronic devices in advance and stay updated through BESCOM's official notifications.

Bengaluru Power Cut: Check Timings

- The electricity shutdown is scheduled over two days, with power supply expected to be unavailable from 10 AM to 5 PM on both days, News18 reported.

- On Friday, the outage will impact areas under the Jalahalli division, while on Saturday, it will affect locations served by the 66/11 kV Vijayanagar substation in the Rajajinagar division.

- BESCOM officials stated that the outage is essential to carry out emergency maintenance, ensuring long-term reliability of the city’s power network.

Check List Of Areas Affected On Friday

Areas under the Jalahalli division, including Vinayaka Nagar, Vikas Nagar, Sobha Apartment area, 8th Mile Road, Ramaiah Layout, parts of Havanur Extension, Narayana Layout, Kuvempu Nagar, Vidya Nagar, Defence Colony, Manjunath Nagar, Mahalakshmi Nagar, Kataraya Nagar, Soap Factory Layout, Vijayalakshmi Layout, Andanappa Layout, BTS Layout, Siddeshwara Layout, Sasuveghatta, parts of Soladevanahalli, Tarabanahalli Main Road, and portions of Hesaraghatta Main Road will remain affected on Friday.

Check List Of Areas Affected On Saturday

On Saturday, areas under the Rajajinagar division will face power supply disruption from 10 AM to 5 PM. These include Basaveshwara Nagar, Vijayanagar, Govindaraja Nagar, Kamakshipalya, RPC Layout, Binny Layout, Prashanth Nagar, Hosahalli, parts of MC Layout, Marenahalli Layout, PC Industrial Area, and stretches from Vijayanagar 7th Main Road to 13th Main Road.

Power supply in Kaveripura, Ranganathapura, KCG Industrial Area, Nanjappa Industrial Estate, Selvam Industrial Estate, Ballayana Kere area, Syndicate Bank Colony, multiple blocks of Kaveripura, Nagarbhavi 11th Block, KHB Colony, HVR Layout, Siddaiah Puranik Road, Papaiah Garden KHB Colony, Magadi Main Road, and parts of Agrahara Dasarahalli will also be disrupted.
