Bengaluru Traffic Advisory: Commuters heading towards Bangalore University Road from Mysuru Road should prepare for significant traffic diversions over the next two days as the city police have imposed temporary restrictions on the stretch. Vehicular movement on Jnanabharathi Main Road will be restricted for 42 hours, from 6 PM on Wednesday to PM on Friday.
Authorities have advised commuters to plan their journeys in advance, use alternate routes and cooperate with traffic personnel to ensure smooth movement of vehicles.

According to the traffic advisory, vehicle movement on Jnanabharathi Main Road will be restricted for 42 hours, from 6 PM on Wednesday to PM on Friday. Officials said the closure is necessary to allow the replacement of steel girders on the railway bridge along this stretch, Deccan Herald reported.
Bengaluru Traffic Advisory: Check Alternate Routes
- Commuters heading towards BU or Ullal from Mysuru Road are advised to turn right at the Jairamdas Junction. From there, they should proceed via Muthurayanagar and Government Press Road, and then take a right turn near the BPEd Ground to reach their destination.

- Commuters going towards Mysuru Road from Ullal or Mariyappanapalya are advised to divert at the BU Head Office Circle. From there, they can proceed via Nagarabhavi Main Road and continue towards the Outer Ring Road to connect back to Mysuru Road.

Officials said the 42-hour block is necessary to ensure public safety during the infrastructure upgrade. The city police have urged motorists to follow the designated alternate routes and extend cooperation to traffic personnel during the maintenance period.
