Bengaluru Traffic Live Updates: Namma Metro Works Leads To Congestion In THESE Areas; Check Latest Advisory

Bengaluru Traffic Advisory Live Updates: Traffic congestion in Bengaluru continues to trouble commuters, with fresh disruptions reported across several routes today. Known for its growing tech industry, the city has also gained attention for its slow-moving traffic, often making daily travel exhausting for residents.
According to the TomTom Traffic Index 2023, Bengaluru ranks among the worst cities in Asia for traffic delays. Commuters spend more than 28 minutes to travel 10 kilometres, leading to an estimated 132 additional hours lost annually during rush hour.
Despite several efforts by local authorities to improve the situation, road movement remains sluggish, especially during weekdays. Office traffic, ongoing construction, unpredictable weather, and infrastructure works frequently worsen the condition.
Today, the Bengaluru Traffic Police issued fresh updates for commuters. Movement from Sadashivanagar towards Mekhri Circle is slow due to a tree fall. A vehicle breakdown on the stretch from MMT to Mahadevapura is also causing delays. Additionally, severe congestion has been reported on the road from Old Udaya TV Road near the railway underpass heading towards Jaymahal Road. This is due to ongoing BBMP work, which has further restricted vehicle flow in the area.
