Bengaluru Traffic Updates: The Bengaluru Traffic Police (BTP) on Sunday issued an advisory for several routes for the commuters. The traffic police stated that vehicular movement on the service road near Venkatam Cafe will not be allowed on a trial basis to observe the traffic flow in the region. The traffic police have urged the commuters to take alternative routes to avoid any inconvenience as BMRCL is set to begin metro construction work in the region. Earlier on Wednesday, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari stated that he has suggested two steps to solve the traffic congestion in Bengaluru- tunnel roads and triple-layered flyovers.
The capital city of Karnataka's traffic congestion has been a major concern for the administration for past several years. The government, on numerous occasions, has assured that several ongoing projects are likely to resolve the issue in the upcoming months. Earlier last week, the vehicular movement in several key areas got affected due to the heavy rain. While sharing videos of broken roads and traffic congestion, the residents pointed out the poor infrastructure of the city, further asking where their tax money was being invested.
