4:05 pm: Joint CP Alok Kumar in Bhajanpura: We've found 5 bodies which include the bodies of the head of the family, his wife and three children. The family was staying here since last 6-7 months. It appears that the bodies have been here for a few days. A forensics team has arrived here
4:00 pm: Maharashtra government has approved 5 day week for state government employees. The decision was taken in Maharashtra cabinet meeting today and will be applicable from February 29. Maharashtra Government employees presently get second and fourth Saturdays off every month.

3:50 pm: Union Minister Prakash Javadekar: Cabinet has approved the Major Ports Authority Bill to replace 1963 Act governing country's 12 major ports. This will improve the efficiency of all major ports and give push to overall development of the sector.
3:45 pm: Union Minister Prakash Javadekar: Union Cabinet has approved protocol amending the Agreement between India and Sri Lanka for avoidance of double taxation and the prevention of fiscal evasion with respect to taxes on income.

3:30 pm: Union Minister Prakash Javadekar: Union Cabinet has decided that Pesticide Management Bill, 2020, will be introduced in this session of Parliament. The Bill aims at protecting farmers' interests by ensuring that they get safe and effective pesticides.

11:55 am : Jammu and Kashmir: The Second batch of foreign envoys arrive in Srinagar. The batch has 25 foreign envoys, including envoys from Germany, Canada, France, New Zealand, Mexico, Italy, Afghanistan, Austria, Uzbekistan, Poland, as well as envoys of the European Union (EU).

9:50 am: Madhya Pradesh: Lokayukta raid at the residence and farmhouse of Co-operative Officer Nirmal Rai in Ujjain, in connection with a disproportionate assets case. More than Rs 15 Lakhs, one car, four motorcycles, and documents of properties have been recovered.
9:40 am: Delhi Police: The accused in firing on AAP MLA Naresh Yadav's convoy and the deceased had an old personal dispute. The accused's nephew had received bullet injuries in 2019 after he was shot at. The accused suspected the deceased to be behind the 2019 incident. He had also threatened the deceased 15 days back.

9:00 am: Delhi Police on firing on the convoy of AAP MLA, Naresh Yadav last night: One accused has been arrested. It is a case of personal enmity and it has nothing to do with politics. Further investigation is underway.

8:20 am: Firozabad: Father of a girl, who was allegedly raped 6 months back in Shikohabad, was shot dead on the night of 10th February in Tilak Nagar. Firozabad SSP says, "Based on the family's complaint, FIR registered. Body sent for postmortem. 5 teams deployed to arrest the accused."
8:10 am: Jammu & Kashmir: A building in Talab Tillo area of Jammu collapsed after a fire broke out there, around 3 AM last night. The fire was later doused off by the fire tenders. The rescue operation is still underway. More details awaited.
7:50 am: Nisar Ahmed Sayyed Bilal's letter also states 'Despite the immense effort by accused persons to derail the trial, present presiding officer, Judge V Padalkar, has managed to depose 140 prosecution witnesses in a fair&just manner. There's no complaint against him even by accused persons'
7:45 am: Nisar Ahmed Sayyed Bilal, a petitioner & father of a man who died in 2008 Malegaon blast, submits a request to Chief Justice of Bombay HC to recommend the extension of tenure of NIA Court Judge VS Padalakar till the trial is over. Padalakar is set to retire at the end of this month

7:20 am: Punjab: A baby was allegedly kidnapped by a woman from Civil Hospital in Ludhiana, yesterday. Police says, "the girl was born on February 7. While checking the CCTV footage, we have seen a woman flee with the baby. We are trying to identify her. An investigation is underway."
7:10 am: Naresh Yadav, AAP MLA: The incident is really unfortunate. I don't know the reason behind the attack but it happened all of a sudden. Around 4 rounds were fired. The vehicle I was in was attacked. I am sure if Police inquires properly they will be able to identify the assailant.
7:00 am: Delhi: Shots fired at Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Mehrauli MLA Naresh Yadav's convoy while he was coming back from the temple. One party volunteer lost his life while another has been injured in the incident.
