The Singaperumal Koil-Sriperumbudur Road is a vital route, serving as a busy artery in the suburbs. Daily, lakhs of vehicles traverse the railway crossing, which frequently closes for long periods, particularly during peak hours for express trains. This closure has exacerbated congestion on the highway, making the new flyover a critical addition to improve traffic flow in the area.
