Chennai Power Cut On Jan 21: The Tamil Nadu Electricity Generating and Distribution Corporation (TANGEDCO) has announced a shutdown in multiple areas in Chennai on Wednesday, January 21 in view of maintenance work. As per TANGEDCO, supply will be resumed if the works are completed ahead of schedule.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has stated that rain activity is likely to return after January 22 in Chennai and other nearby cities. While the maximum temperature is likely to hover around 31 degrees Celsius, the minimum temperature is set to remain around 20 degrees Celsius. The residents are set to witness cloudy skies and moderate wind for the next few days. Apart from this, the presence of fog in the morning hours is also likely to trouble the residents.
