Naidunia Correspondent, Jagdalpur | Chhattisgarh BJP president and Jagdalpur MLA Kiran Singh Deo was injured in a road accident near Lalitpur, Uttar Pradesh, on Wednesday. According to preliminary information, he is being taken to Jhansi Medical College for treatment. It is reported that Deo was visiting Dhirendra Krishna Shastri's Bageshwar Dham with his family.

Deo had gone to visit Baba Bageshwar Dham with his family on Tuesday. While returning from there, his car collided with a truck parked on the roadside near Lalitpur. Following the accident, local administration and relief teams arrived at the scene, and he was immediately rushed to the hospital.

According to doctors, his condition is being continuously monitored. Upon receiving news of the accident, a wave of concern spread among BJP workers and supporters.

Akash Vig, convener, Protocol Cell, BJP Chhattisgarh, shared a social media post, wishing Deo a speedy recovery.

"News has been received that Chhattisgarh BJP State President Shri Kiran Singh Deo ji was injured in a road accident on the Lalitpur (UP) highway. I pray to God that he is granted complete recovery of health soon. @KiranDeoBJP @ajayjamwalbjp @PawanSaiBJP @shivprakashbjp," his post read.

Another BJP leader, Sarla Kosaria, also reacted to the road accident on X. "The news of the injury to Chhattisgarh BJP State president, the honourable Shri Kiran Singh Deo ji, in the road accident that occurred in Lalitpur, Uttar Pradesh, is extremely distressing. I pray to Mother Gayatri ji that he recovers fully and swiftly. Kiran Singh Deo Bjp Chhattisgarh," her post read.
