Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Thursday spoke about China occupying Indian land and refuted all such reports. He mentioned that some issues that date back to 2013, need to be resolved, adding that no one can occupy even an inch of Indian land under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership. He informed that talks are ongoing between India and China with the belief that a resolution will be reached.
"I don’t think so. Commander-level talks are going on between India and China. There are some issues, some date back to 2013, which need to be resolved. India and China are holding talks with the belief that we will reach a resolution," he said.
"When talks take place between two countries, it is not easy to determine the time frame by when will we get the results, but both countries are holding talks with the belief that we will reach a resolution. On the issues that we are discussing, if they (China) agree, then I don't think there is a reason for distrust," added the Defence Minister.

Rajnath Singh On Opposition's Allegations On Central Probe Agencies
Asked about the allegations of opposition parties including the Aam Aadmi Party and Trinamool Congress, Rajnath Singh said the probe agencies including the Enforcement Directorate and CBI and also Income Tax were doing their job.
"India has to be made corruption-free, this is the resolve of our Prime Minister. If they (opposition parties) feel that they have been framed, their leaders are in jail on baseless allegations, they can get protection from courts. If Sanjay Singh (AAP leader) can get bail, why other (party leaders) have not been able to get similar relief," he asked.
"It seems they don't have faith in courts. If there is a verdict against in courts, we will accept it," he said.
