The victim, identified as Sachin Kumar, worked as a waiter at a popular eatery in Connaught Place. He was stabbed to death by Hashib Khan after Khan allegedly forced his wife to invite Kumar to their home, the police added.

Upon knowing about the affair, Hashib Khan allegedly forced his wife to call Sachin to their home last Sunday, where he stabbed him to death. The perpetrators then disposed the victim's body by stuffing it into their car and dumping it in a jungle area in Dasna, as revealed by the police.

Sachin's family approached police after he failed to return home and his phone was switched off. According to Sachin's brother, Mohit, who resides in Aligarh, Sachin had worked at Khan's Sangam Vihar factory for over a year but had resigned due to a financial disagreement. Mohit stated that Sachin had already repaid one lakh rupees, but the Khan couple continued to threaten him over the phone for more money.
