Jagran Correspondent, New Delhi | Burari Police Station arrested Sahib Khan alias Bunty, who was declared a fugitive in connection with the brutal murder of his employer, property dealer Munawar, and all six members of his family in Burari. The accused involved in these heinous murders had been absconding after jumping parole.
What Is The Entire Matter?
In 2016, Sahib, along with some of his associates, committed the crime to usurp his employer's properties worth crores in Burari. Sahib Khan alias Bunty carried out this horrific crime to usurp his employer's properties worth crores located in Burari. When Munawar was jailed on rape charge, Sahib took his wife and two daughters to Mawana (Meerut) on the pretext of brokering a settlement in the rape case. There, he shot and killed all three of them and threw their bodies into a canal.

Immediately after returning to Delhi, Sahib called Munawar's two sons to a property, strangled them to death, and buried their bodies in pre-dug pits in the house.
Unaware of the deaths of his wife, two sons, and two daughters, Munawar was granted 15-day interim bail to meet his children. The very next day after his release from jail, Sahib, along with his associates, entered the house and shot them dead. Sahib had been absconding since his release on 15-day interim bail amid the ongoing trial in the fast-track court, stalling court proceedings.
According to DCP North District Raja Banthia, in 2014, Sahib Khan, a resident of Alipur, began working in the office of property dealer Munawar, who lived in Sant Nagar, Burari. Munawar had four children (two sons and two daughters). In 2016, Sahib hatched a plan to eliminate the entire family to seize his employer's property worth crores.
Shahib Killed Six Persons Of Munawar Family
The interrogation revealed the horrifying secret of the murder of six people. No one had any information about the murder of five members of the family. When Munawar's wife failed to visit him in jail for a considerable period, a kidnapping case was filed at the Burari police station. The court granted Munawar 15 days' interim bail to find his family. The very next day, as soon as Munawar was released from jail, Sahib and his associates entered Munawar's house and shot him dead.
To save himself, the cunning accused called the police and reported that an unknown person had murdered Munawar. When the Burari police interrogated Sahib rigorously, he broke down and revealed the horrific secret of the murder of Munawar and his entire family (six members). After this, he was arrested and sent to jail.
On October 14th of last year, Sahib was granted 15 days' interim bail by the court on the grounds of his sister's wedding. After the bail expired, he did not surrender and absconded. Subsequently, on May 5, the Tis Hazari Court declared him a "fugitive." To catch the fugitive, a team led by ACP Burari Shashikant Gaur and Burari Police Station in-charge Girish Chandra Raturi apprehended Sahib near Nathupura Chowk in Burari on June 14.
