The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) is set to operate metro services from 3 AM onward on certain lines to aid runners who will be participating in the PNB Soldierathon at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on Sunday, April 5, 2026. This will allow for thousands of runners to travel without delay and help minimise the number of personal vehicles generating traffic congestion on Delhi roads.
The metro service will be available along key routes:
- Yellow Line (Samaypur Badli to Millennium City Centre Gurugram)
- Blue Line (Dwarka Sector 21 to Noida Electronic City/Vaishali)
- Violet Line (Kashmere Gate to Raja Nahar Singh)

Trains will run every 30 minutes during the hours of 3 am and 6 am on those routes. At 6 am, normal Sunday service will resume.
All other lines will have regular Sunday service. Commuters should plan and know when their stations open before boarding a metro train.

Due to the anticipated participation of defence members (current and prior) as well as numerous other civilian participants, the early Metro service will be key to assisting all of the runners travelling to the PNB Soldierathon.
