Delhi-NCR Weather Today: Delhi woke up to intermittent light rainfall and a morning infused with the chills of peak winter. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Delhi recorded the season's lowest temperature at 4.6 degrees Celsius on Friday, which is 2.3 degrees below normal.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has placed the city and the NCR area on a yellow alert as it anticipates moderate to dense fog at isolated places in Delhi on Friday, January 9.

According to the Meteorological Department, light rain is likely in several areas of Delhi over the next two hours. The IMD has forecast intermittent light showers in places including Mundka, Paschim Vihar, Rajouri Garden, Buddha Jayanti Park, President's House, Rajiv Chowk, Jafarpur, Najafgarh, Dwarka, Delhi Cantt, Palam, IGI Airport, as well as in Bahadurgarh and Ghaziabad in the NCR.

Delhi-NCR Weather Today: Alert For Dense Fog, Temp Dip

The national capital experienced a cold day on January 6 with mercury dropping to as low as 5.8 degrees Celsius. The IMD has placed a yellow alert across Delhi-NCR, predicting clear sky but moderate to dense fog at isolated places in the morning hours. The light rainfall has brought a dip in temperature, contributing to sharper chills. The minimum temperature today is likely to range between 5-7 degrees Celsius.

Delhi-NCR Weather Forecast: No Change Likely In Delhi, NCR Braces For Dense Fog

- The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast little change in minimum temperatures over the next three to four days.

- Light to moderate fog is likely to continue in the mornings, with partly cloudy skies possible at some places from January 10 to 12.
