Delhi-NCR Rain: The residents of Delhi and other nearby cities, including Noida, Ghaziabad, and Gurugram, witnessed fresh rainfall on Tuesday. The change in weather has brought much-needed relief from the scorching heat by reducing the temperature by at least two degrees Celsius. Along with rain, several regions also received gusty winds, thunderstorms, and dust storms. The residents have been advised to stay updated with the weather forecast and plan their days accordingly. 

Delhi: Fresh Rain Brings Relief 

The capital city witnessed similar weather conditions for the past two days as some regions experienced occasional rain activities. However, the scorching heat persisted due to less than normal rain and slow gusty winds. The residents are likely to get relief with the latest change in weather. While the rainfall is set to lower the temperature, it is also likely to cause waterlogging in the lower regions, leading to inconveniences.

More Rain Likely In Delhi-NCR

The residents witnessed humidity and heat on Monday due to the persistent sunlight and slow surface winds. As per the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the national capital is likely to witness moderate to heavy rainfall for the next few days. The weather department stated that the northern states will continue to receive more rain due to advancement of monsoon. 

Along with Delhi, similar weather condition is likely in the nearby cities, including Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurugram, and Sahibabad for the next few days. The residents have been advised to follow the guidelines and limit their outings during the rain to avoid any inconveniences.

The IMD also stated that a 'depression' has formed over Jharkhand and Odisha and is slowly moving towards Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. Its impact is expected to bring heavy rainfall in multiple northern and western states, including Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan.

Apart from this, the southern states are also set to witness similar weather conditions, as the coastal and interior areas of Kerala and Karnataka are likely to receive rainfall.
