Delhi Traffic Advisory: In a major update for the commuters, the Delhi Traffic Police, in its advisory, stated that several regions of Delhi will witness heavy traffic congestion on Sunday. In its advisory, the authority stated that traffic movement near the Red Fort area is likely to be severely affected for the full day. A "Tribal Cultural Conclave" is scheduled to be held at the Red Fort, with approximately one lakh people expected to attend. The traffic police has advised the commuters to follow the guidelines and plan their travel accordingly.

Traffic Diverted On These Routes:

- GT Karnal Road (from Shastri Park to Tis Hazari)

- Boulevard Road (from the Khoya Mandi U-turn to the Ring Road)

- Sham Nath Marg, Lothian Road, Hamilton Road (from Dufferin Bridge to Kala Ghat)

- Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Marg, Netaji Subhash Marg (from Delhi Gate Chowk to Chhatta Rail)

- Jawaharlal Nehru Marg (from Rajghat to Delhi Gate)

- Asaf Ali Road (from Turkman Gate to Delhi Gate Chowk)

- Nishad Raj Marg.

The authority stated that the vehicular movement will remain affected on several routes, including Rajpura Road, Ring Road, Salimgarh Bypass (from Chandgi Ram Akhara to IP Flyover), ITO Chowk, BSZ Marg, DDU Marg, Minto Road, Shraddhanand Marg, Chawri Bazar Road, and Deshbandhu Gupta Marg.

'No Entry' Timings for Buses:

12 PM to 4 PM- As per the advisory, entry for buses and commercial vehicles will remain prohibited on the Ranjit Singh Flyover and Ranjit Singh Marg. These vehicles will be diverted towards ITO and IP Marg.

12 PM to 3 AM: The traffic police clarified that strict restrictions will be imposed on traffic moving from Delhi Gate Chowk towards the Red Fort and Rajghat.

The traffic police have advised the commuters to maximise the use of public transportation and avoid outings in the peak hours to avoid any inconveniences.
