IndiGo Advisory: Amid the worsened weather condition in Delhi-NCR, IndiGo on Saturday issued a travel advisory for the passengers. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), the airline asserted that the rainfall has affected the flight services in the capital city, adding that the situation is being closely monitored. It further advised the passengers to stay updated and plan their travel accordingly to avoid any inconveniences. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has stated that Delhi, along with other nearby cities, is set to witness more rain in the upcoming days.

In its post, the airline asserted that the situation is likely to improve, adding that the crew members are engaged in assisting the passengers. "Bad weather conditions over Delhi had led to temporary disruptions in flight operations. The weather is now gradually easing. We assure you that flight movements are steadily resuming as conditions permit. Please stay informed of the latest updates through our website and app," it stated.

"Our dedicated on-ground teams and onboard crew are fully engaged in assisting you and ensuring your comfort during this wait. We are closely monitoring the situation and are hopeful that the skies will clear soon, ensuring a smooth journey ahead," the airline added.

Along with the national capital, the weather department has also issued an orange alert for other cities, including Ghaziabad, Noida, and Gurugram. It asserted that there is a high possibility of light to moderate rainfall, accompanied by light thunderstorms, lightning, and strong winds at speeds of 40–50 km/h. The residents have been advised to stay indoors and limit their outings, especially during the rain.

Earlier, the weather department also stated that the residents of Delhi are likely to witness scorching heat this year, leading to several issues. However, the rainfall on Friday has provided temporary relief to the residents of the city.
