Faridabad Rape Case: In a fresh update, a 25-year-old married woman, who was allegedly raped in a moving vehicle in Faridabad, Haryana, was driven at high speeds before being thrown out of the van while it was traveling at over 90 km/h. The incident, which resulted in serious injuries to her face and head, occurred near Raja Chowk at around 3 AM.
The woman sustained severe facial and head injuries, requiring over 12 stitches. Her condition remains critical, and she has not yet been deemed fit to provide a statement, according to a police officer. Two individuals have been arrested in connection with the alleged rape.
Faridabad Rape Case: New Details Surface
- According to police, the woman had been trying to find a ride home when a van stopped and two men lured her into the vehicle. Officials confirmed the incident occurred on the night between Monday and Tuesday.
- The woman's sister filed a complaint, stating that the victim had been staying at their parents house due to marital discord. She had visited a friend’s house in Sector 23 on Monday evening, and while returning late at night, she was offered a lift by the accused.
- Around midnight, the victim was waiting for a ride but was unsuccessful in finding one. Soon after, the accused men offered her a lift, which she accepted. It is alleged that after picking her up, the two men drove the van towards Gurugram Road. After passing the Hanuman Temple on the Faridabad-Gurugram road, one of the accused continued driving while the other raped the woman.
- The accused then drove around on the Faridabad-Gurugram road for approximately two hours. At 3 AM, they allegedly threw the victim out of the moving van while it was still travelling at a high speed, over 90 km/h. This action resulted in severe injuries to her face and head.

- Instead of taking the woman to her intended destination, the accused drove towards Gurugram and assaulted her inside the vehicle. Despite her injuries, the woman managed to call her sister, who arrived at the scene and took her to Badshah Khan Civil Hospital.
- Given the gravity of her injuries, doctors advised transferring the woman to a hospital in Delhi. However, the family opted to admit her to a private hospital in Faridabad for further treatment.
- The doctors had to administer stitches to her face, and after the family was informed, they arrived at the Civil Hospital in Faridabad, where the victim had initially been admitted.
"My sister was badly injured after being thrown out of the vehicle. Considering her condition, we decided to admit her to a private hospital," the victim’s sister told PTI.
- The accused are from Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh but have been residing in Faridabad. The police revealed that they were not known to the woman, and their identities will be disclosed once a test identification parade is conducted.

"We have arrested the accused and are currently questioning them. They will be produced before the court. However, as a test identification parade is yet to be conducted, we cannot reveal the names or photographs of the accused at this stage," said Faridabad police spokesperson Yashpal Yadav.
- The police have seized the van used in the crime, and the accused have confessed to their involvement. Due to the seriousness of the victim's injuries, she has been declared unfit to provide a statement.
