AI Impact Summit 2026 Live Updates: Prime Minister Narendra Modion Thursday delivered the inaugural address while inaugurating the India AI Impact Summit 2026 at Delhi's Bharat Mandapam. The summit is likely to be attended by Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silv and leading AI and tech CEOs like Sundar Pichai, Sam Altman, Dario Amodei and Demis Hassabis, among others.
The Prime Minister will participate in the opening ceremony of the India AI Summit, scheduled to begin at around 9:40 am. He will then deliver his address at around 10:25 am.
India is hosting the AI Impact Summit 2026 at Delhi's Bharat Mandapam from February 16 to 20, welcoming leaders from across the world. Top policymakers and major players from the technology industry are expected to attend the five-day event focused on Artificial Intelligence. The summit marks the first time a Global South nation is organising an international gathering of this scale on AI. During the event, India will aim to underline its push for an AI ecosystem that is inclusive, responsible and impactful.
According to the government, this summit is based on three key principles: People, Planet, and Progress. This means that AI technology should be developed in a way that benefits people, is environmentally friendly, and contributes to global progress.
