Railways News: Amid a significant surge in passengers, the Southeastern Railway has decided to attach one extra coach to several trains. While providing details, the authority stated that an extra coach will be added to two trains passing through the Chakradharpur railway division, two trains originating from the Ranchi railway division, and five trains passing through the Kharagpur railway division. These trains will operate with an extra coach for three days from December 24 to 26. The officials stated that the decision was taken to manage the rush, as thousands of people might travel on these dates due to Christmas and New Year.

Which Trains Will Get Extra Coaches?

- An extra sleeper coach will be added to Train Number 12837, the Howrah-Puri Superfast Express, from December 24 to 26.

- A non-AC chair car coach will be added to Train Number 12883 Santragachi-Purulia Rupasi Bangla Express on December 25 and 26.

- An extra sleeper coach will be added to Train Number 18107 Rourkela-Jagdalpur Intercity Express on December 24 and 26.

- Sleeper coach will be added to Train Number 18611 Ranchi-Banaras Express on December 25 and 26.

- An extra sleeper coach will be added to Train Number 18640 Ranchi-Ara Express on December 26.

- A general coach will be added to Train Number 22839 Rourkela-Bhubaneswar Intercity Superfast Express on December 24 and 25.

The authority stated that the changes will provide convenience to the passengers, further suggesting them to follow the guidelines and plan their travel accordingly to avoid any inconveniences.
