In a tragic incident that occurred in Jaipur, Rajasthan, at least three workers were killed after the wall of an under-construction building collapsed in the Amer area. Several others are feared to be trapped under the debris.
Upon receiving information about the incident, the local administration, police, and rescue teams arrived at the scene. Rescue operations are currently underway, and the injured have been shifted to the hospital. NDRF and SDRF teams have also arrived at the scene. Collector Sandesh Nayak confirmed the deaths of three workers.

"Three dead after a wall collapsed in the Chandwaji area of Jaipur's Tala Mod. The injured have been shifted to the hospital," ANI quoted Jaipur Rural Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Hanuman Prasad Meena.
Drain Digging Work Was Underway
People present at the scene reported that work was underway to dig a drain in the Chandwaji area of Jaipur's Tala Mod. Heavy digging led to the collapse of the wall of a construction site building located nearby. According to an eyewitness, more than 12 workers were likely to be trapped under the wall.

Initial reports indicate that the victims were mostly from Bihar and Jharkhand. Since it was lunchtime at the time of the accident, most labourers were not present near the location. Authorities fear that the death toll is likely to rise. A police inquiry has been initiated into the incident.
