The Jharkhand High Court is set to hear on Monday the petitions filed against the Jharkhand government's decision to cancel the advertisement issued for recruitment in various departments. The bench of Justice Deepak Roshan has listed all the related petitions for hearing together.

The government initiated the recruitment process through these advertisements, but no appointments have been made yet. The state government issued a notification on August 18, deciding to cancel 22 examinations, postpone the process for six, and place 17 examinations under scrutiny.

This government decision also includes advertisements based on which the recruitment process had already begun, but appointments had not yet been made. Several candidates and other applicants have filed petitions in the High Court challenging the government's decision.

The petitioners had requested the court for an early hearing on these matters on August 20. The court then fixed August 24 for a combined hearing of all the petitions.
