Karnataka Weather Update: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has stated that several regions of Karnataka are set to witness rainfall in the upcoming days. The weather department, while providing details, stated that the rainfall will reduce the temperature by two to four degrees Celsius. While the residents will get relief from the heat, the continuous rainfall is likely to lead to waterlogging. The weather department has advised the residents to follow the guidelines to avoid inconveniences.
While providing details, the weather department stated that several districts, including Bagalkot, Vijayapura, Kalburgi, and Raichur, are set to witness light to moderate rain in the upcoming days. It further stated that other districts, such as Belagavi, Bidar, Dharwad, Gadag, Haveri, Koppal, and Yadgir, are also set to witness moderate to heavy rain.
Along with rain, these regions are also expected to witness gusty winds and thunderstorms. The continuous rain is expected to lead to waterlogging in the lower regions, leading to inconveniences to the commuters. However, the residents of these districts are also likely to witness relief from the more-than-usual heat.
As per the weather department, the residents of Bengaluru are expected to witness cloudy skies for the next two to three days. The capital city of Karnataka is likely to witness rain on April 28, reducing the temperature by two to four degrees Celsius. While the maximum temperature is likely to be calculated at 36 degrees Celsius on April 25, the minimum temperature is expected to remain around 23 degrees Celsius.

The residents of Bengaluru have experienced more than usual heat in April; however, rain is likely to bring relief in the last two days of the month. Along with Karnataka, several other states, including Maharashtra, Gujarat, West Bengal, Delhi, and Uttar Pradesh, are also set to witness light to moderate rainfall in the next few days.
