Kapil Sharma Threatened: Comedian Kapil Sharma was once again reportedly threatened by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The gang, claiming responsibility for the shooting at a cafe in Canada early Saturday morning, threatened the cafe owner as well as the comedian Sharma. Sharma's restaurant, Kap's Cafe, is located at the same place where the firing incident took place.

A social media post with a Facebook account named "Tyson Bishnoi Zora Sidhu" stated that they carried out the shooting at the "Chai Sutta Bar" cafe in Surrey, British Columbia, which is located near Kapil Sharma's "Caps Cafe." The post directly addressed Kapil Sharma, warning him to "fall in line" and not waste the gang's time, or else he would face the same fate as this cafe.

The post also claimed that Kapil Sharma's cafe has been attacked twice in 2025. The gang warned that if Sharma did not comply with their demands, his Canadian business and Mumbai home would be targeted. The gang said this time, no recommendation or mediation would be effective. The post included several gang-related names and hashtags at the end.

However, the police or other investigating agencies have not yet officially confirmed the authenticity of the post or its direct connection to the gang.

Delhi Police Arrests Key Conspirator In Firing At Sharma's Cafe In Canada

Meanwhile, in November last year, the Delhi Police had arrested an alleged key conspirator in the firing incident at Kap's Cafe, in Canada on August 7. The accused, Bandhu Maan Singh Sekhon (28) -- an India and Canada-based handler for the Goldy Dhillon gang -- was apprehended from Punjab's Ludhiana during a late-night operation on November 25.

A high-end PX-3 semi-automatic pistol (made in China) and eight live cartridges were recovered from his possession. "Sekhon had been providing logistical support, weapons and strategic assistance to shooters involved in the attacks on Kap's Cafe," Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime Branch) Sanjeev Kumar Yadav said in a statement.

Kapil Sharma's Restaurant, Kap's Cafe Attacked Twice

The restaurant has been targeted in three separate firing incidents since July this year -- on July 10, August 7 and October 16 -- orchestrated by foreign-based gangsters as part of an intimidation and extortion bid, the statement noted.
