A group of 25 women bikers from across India, including a Brazilian photographer, embarked on a 1,400-kilometre journey to explore the beauty of Madhya Pradesh on Saturday. The tour, organised by the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board, aims to promote the state as a safe and empowering destination for women travellers.
The bikers will visit various tourist attractions in the state, such as Chanderi, Kuno National Park, Gwalior, Orchha, Khajuraho and return to Bhopal on March 8, coinciding with International Women’s Day. The tour will conclude with a grand celebration of women's empowerment and adventure tourism.
The Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board has taken all the necessary safety precautions for the bikers, such as providing an ambulance, a support vehicle, insurance and safety guidelines. The board also has a crew that will accompany the bikers throughout the tour.
