Naidunia Representative, Shivpuri: A major controversy erupted at the public grievance meeting (Jan Chaupal) organised by BJP MLA Ramesh Khatik in the Narwar tehsil of Madhya Pradesh’s Shivpuri district after the legislator allegedly refused to hear the grievances of villagers from the neighbouring Pohri Assembly constituency, telling them they were 'not his voters'. The Pohri constituency is represented by Congress MLA Kailash Kushwaha.
Upset at being dismissed, a young man staged a dramatic protest by placing his child on the bonnet of the MLA's parked car.

What Happened At Jan Chaupal?
According to a report by Naidunia, BJP MLA Ramesh Khatik organised a public grievance meeting (Janchaupal) at the Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar Bhawan in Narwar tehsil on Thursday. Residents from Nanakpur and Barkhadi villages, which fall under the neighbouring Pohri assembly constituency, attended the session to raise complaints about their drinking water and electricity supply.
However, upon reviewing their applications, the Karera MLA declined to hear their grievances, flatly stating, "You are from Pohri, not a voter in my constituency. I cannot hear your case. Go to the Pohri MLA."
'Take Our Children Away': Villager Stages Dramatic Protest
Enraged by the MLA's response, the villagers said, "Even though we are not your voters, we have come to the Madhya Pradesh government with our grievances, and you are a ruling party MLA."
The confrontation quickly escalated into a heated commotion. Meanwhile, a disappointed villager staged a dramatic protest, placing his three-to-four-year-old child on the bonnet of the MLA's parked car and stating, "If you won't listen to us, then take our children away." A video of the incident is being widely circulated on social media.
Officials and others present at the scene quickly intervened and removed the child from the vehicle.
