MP Weather: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued heavy to very heavy rainfall in several districts of Madhya Pradesh, including Dewas, Pandhurna, Chhindwara, Harda, Mandla, Balaghat, and Dindori. As per the weather department, a cyclonic system has formed over the state, causing an intense movement of monsoon. The monsoon is expected to advance into the Sagar and Gwalior-Chambal divisions, leading to rain, lightning, and thunderstorms in 43 districts.

Heavy Rain Likley In Several Regions

While providing details, the weather department stated that several districts, including Niwari, Tikamgarh, Chhatarpur, Damoh, Panna, Sagar, Anuppur, Umaria, Shahdol, Maihar, Mauganj, Singrauli, Sidhi, Satna, Rewa, Mandla, Seoni, Narsinghpur, Katni, Jabalpur, Ashoknagar, Guna, Shivpuri, Datia, Bhind, Morena, Sheopur, Gwalior, Narmadapur, Shajapur, Ujjain, Khargone, Khandwa, Barwani, Burhanpur, Dhar, Alirajpur, Jhabua, Indore, Vidisha, Rajgarh, Sehore, Raisen and Bhopal are set to witness rainfall for the next two to three days.

Apart from this, rainfall is also likely in other regions such as Ratlam, Mandsaur, Neemuch, and Agar-Malwa, the IMD asserted. The continuous rainfall is likely to provide relief from the scorching heat by reducing the temperature by two to four degrees Celsius. However, it could also cause waterlogging in the lower regions, leading to inconvenience to the commuters.

Bhopal Weather Update

The residents of the capital city are likely to witness cloudy skies, a gentle breeze, and light to heavy rainfall on Wednesday. While the maximum temperature of Bhopal is likely to be calculated at 30 degrees Celsius, the minimum temperature is expected to remain around 25 degrees Celsius. The fresh rain has provided much-needed relief to the residents by bringing the temperature down.

The weather department has advised the residents to follow the guidelines and limit their outings during the rainfall to avoid inconveniences. Apart from this, the farmers have been advised to avoid hiding beneath big trees and electricity poles during the rainfall.
